My mom was a wonderful woman who knew faith, hope, & love as the foundation for life. She taught us to work, play, & love with conviction. She was not afraid to discipline us or tell us to pull up our bootstraps. But she was also our cheerleader, sympathetic when times were difficult, and always at the ready with a prayer! She was a strong spirit who lived life to the fullest with a great zest for family, friends, faith, adventure, life long learning, & fun! If something was worth doing "then do it right or don't do it at all." What a great gift to be a Wode, born to mom & dad, loved by my siblings. It was my privelage to be her daughter and my honor to have had her as my mom. I hope to see you on the other side mom. Our reunion will be heavenly! I love you...forever! Beth

My husband, Jim Kisker and Bob Wode worked together and we saw each other at work picnics, family swim at West Seneca High School, etc. Our first dog came from them in 1968. We exchanged Christmas cards and Jim and I visited them at their home in Irving, NY. My husband, also passed, and I really liked their whole family and even saw Mary at Tom's restaurant as our children own a cottage in Angola, NY. She was a beautiful lady inside and out and will be truly missed by many friends and family. Love and prayers to all, Arlene Kisker.
