March 2, 1963 – June 27, 2025

Gina M. Chudzinski, 62 of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on Friday, June 27, 2025 at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY.

She was born on March 2, 1963 in Colver, Pa. the daughter of Glenn and Helen (nee Poptick) Thrower. She married the love of her life Richard R. Chudzinski on September 29, 1984 at Our Mother of Good Counsel in Blasdell, NY

Gina graduated from Lackawanna High School “Class of 1981”, where she obtained her cosmetologist degree. She worked as a hair stylist at Fantastic Sam’s in Blasdell, NY.

Gina was known for her engaging personality and kind heart. She made instant friendships with anybody she met. Gina loved animals, music and spending time with family and friends. She loved to dance and attend concerts, especially listening to Rick’s band. Gina’s life had a profound impact on all those who had the pleasure of knowing her and she will be greatly missed.

Gina is survived by her loving husband, Rick Chudzinski of Silver Creek, NY; her loving mother, Helen Thrower of Holly, NY; two dear siblings, Glenn (Jen) Thrower Jr. of Holley, NY and Sabrina (Peter) Dombrowski of Lackawanna, NY; sister-in-law, Kathleen (Michael) Brown and a brother-in-law, Leonard (Joni) Chudzinski; also survived by many nieces & nephews.

She was predeceased by her father, Glenn A. Thrower Sr. of Holley, NY

A private memorial is being held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Lackawanna, NY where Gina’s cremated remains will be laid in St Luke’s corner of the Evangelist Courtyard.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY. Flowers are gratefully declined. Memorial contributions in Gina’s honor may be made to the Chautauqua Humane Society in Jamestown, NY.
