Brandon M. Dolce

April 21, 1980 – July 16, 2025

Brandon M. Dolce, 45, of Concord, NC formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on July 16,

2025 at the Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC.

He was born on April 21, 1980 in Dunkirk, NY the son of Joseph and Kathleen (nee Kozurkiewicz) Dolce.

Brandon graduated from Silver Creek High School “Class of 1998”. He continued his education at JCC

earning an Associate’s Degree before enrolling at SUNY Fredonia for his Bachelor’s Degree in business

administration. A few years later, Brandon made the decision to enroll at Buffalo State University,

earning a Master’s Degree in Education.

Brandon started his teaching career within the Buffalo Public School’s system before making his move to

North Carolina. In his 15 years teaching in North Carolina, he taught at Albemarle Middle School,

Northeast Middle School, and Mint Hill Middle School, until finding his home at Cox Mill High School

where he taught Computer Science and Information Technology as part of their Career and Technical

Education Department. He strived to make sure the kids got the very best out of school, whether it was

volunteering to be the Athletic Director at Mint Hill, coaching various sports or finding people in the

community to step in and coach. At Cox Mill, he participated in several competitions with his students,

coming in first place. Brandon was also an active participant with NAF (National Academy Foundation),

presenting topics at their yearly national conference, most recently presenting “AI in the Classroom:

Your Journey to less Stress” in Denver,CO.

Brandon was also a part-time employee at both Percent and High Branch Breweries in Concord, NC.

Percent Brewery put it best “This dude poured his heart into everything he did for us, with a dedication

that consistently blew us away. No one else could quite do it like him. He was always there for us,

whether right beside us or just a phone call away, generously sharing his IT wisdom or making us burst

into laughter with his perfectly terrible and endearing jokes.”

To those that knew Brandon, he was a true friend, a confidant, and irreplaceable part of the community.

His kind heart, spirit, distinct humor, and unwavering loyalty will forever be missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Joseph (Rachael) Dolce of Huntingtown, MD, a

sister, Lauren Dolce of Hamburg, NY, a nephew, Anthony Dolce and a niece, Karah Dolce both of

Huntingtown, MD; two feline companions, Tatum and Baby Kitty; also survived by many aunts, uncles

and cousins.
