Obituary of Rose Marie Tomms
Rose Marie Tomms, 72, of Silver Creek, NY died Sunday afternoon November 19, 2017 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY.
She was born on September 15, 1945 in Buffalo, N.Y., the daughter of the late Albert and Elberta Lock.
Rose worked as a teller for M&T Bank and Evans Bank in Angola, NY. She switched professions and became a caregiver to the disabled. She worked for People Inc. in Farnham, NY for over 12 years.
Rose loved the water; she owned a cottage on Lake Erie with her husband Ken. Together, they enjoyed many good times, beautiful sunsets and created a lifetime of memories. She also liked to travel, collect antiques and attend local flea markets.
Survivors include her husband of 30 years Kenneth I Tomms, a brother, Alan Lock, a sister, Katherine Lock, a niece, Lori (Robert)Rich, two nephews, Robert (Toni) Cook and David (Lorie) Cook, last but not least her K9 companion Tucker.
Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 47 p.m., where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 11 a.m. with Rev Michael Leamon officiating. Interment will be private in Forest Hill Cemetery, Attica, NY.
