Obituary of Joanne E. DePasquale

Obituary Joanne E. DePasquale, 88, of Silver Creek, NY has gone home to be with the Lord, passing peacefully in her daughter’s home surrounded by her family on Saturday, December 19th, 2020 after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Joanne was born in Silver Creek, New York on February 4th, 1932 to Milford Ernest and Margaret Claire (Newton) West. Joanne is survived by her three children Suzanne (Robert) Orr and Michael (Dawn) DePasquale of Silver Creek, NY, Louis (Irene) DePasquale of Penneville, NY, eleven grandchildren, special niece Patricia Einhouse, special friend Beula Einhouse, special grand dog Rookie, as well as many great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by husband of 54 years Loreto DePasquale, daughter, Cindy (DePasquale) Krebs, and siblings Barbara and Richard West. Joanne graduated from Silver Creek High School in 1951 and was employed at the Dutch Kitchen and Seegert’s Dairy. She married high school sweetheart Loreto DePasquale on January 7th 1955. Joanne enjoyed reading, baking, puzzles, home bureau, playing rummy with her grandchildren and celebrating holidays with her entire family. The family wants to give a special thank you to her neighbors, the Deifenbach and Johnson Families for all their acts of kindness. Flowers are gratefully declined. Donations in her memory may be made to Hanover Fire Department, Silver Creek Food Pantry, or Chautauqua Hospice. Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. on Wednesday, December 23, 2020 from 11- 2PM. Where a Blessing Service will be held at 2 PM.
