Lucille A. Neveu, 83, of Silver Creek, NY passed away Thursday April 13,2017 at the Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital in Williamsville, NY. She was born on June 4, 1933 in Nashua, N.H., the daughter of the late Eugene and Marie-Jeanne (Duhamel) Gagnon. Lucille was a graduate of St. Louis De Gonzague High School, Class of 1951 and Rivier College, she earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Applied Music. She later went onto to the Sherwood School of Music in Chicago, Ill. receiving a Masters in Applied Music. Lucille was employed by the Conservatory of Music in Evanston, Ill. and the Ohio Northern University in Ada, Ohio as a piano teacher. The family relocated to Silver Creek, NY in the early 60’s, Lucille and her husband Maurice raised five children and she taught piano for over 40years. Lucille was a faithful member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel Church, where she was the organist for over 44 years. In addition to music she enjoyed bird watching and genealogy. Survivors include a daughter Elise (Carl) Fila of Williamsville, NY, three sons, Paul Neveu of Kent Ohio, Albert ( Jacqueline)Neveu of Oswego, NY and Daniel Neveu of Buffalo, NY, three granddaughters ,Brittney (Miles) Seekford, Candice and Sophie Neveu, two great grandchildren Ava and Chase Seekford. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband of 55years Maurice Neveu and a son David Neveu A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at 10a.m. Thursday April 20, 2017 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, Silver Creek with the Rev. Daniel Fiebelkorn officiating. Internment will take place at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
