Dearest Anita, Michael, Jennifer, and extended Saletta Family: Kris, Kyra, and I are deeply saddened to hear of Rich's passing. I looked up to my eastern cousin--with his generosity and his strong character--and greatly enjoyed his company and conversation. He would usually be the one to reach out, keeping family ties as strong as geographical distance, time, and busy lives would allow. We all appreciated his good humor and genuine interest in our lives. He adored my mother, Madeline, and treated us all so warmly.
