David R. Russell, 37, of Dunkirk, NY formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, March 2, 2017 at his residence. He was born on July 24, 1979 in Camp Pendleton, Ca. the son of Roy and the late Elizabeth (Phillips) Russell. He belonged to the Heron Clan of the Seneca Nation of Indians .His hobbies included reading mystery books, writing poetry, listening to music and playing video games. David is survived by his father, Roy Russell of Silver Creek, two daughters, Destiny Russell of S. Dayton, NY and Tina Schroeder of Angola, NY, his paternal grandmother, Anna Russell of Silver Creek, NY and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Dana Russell, paternal grandfather, Ray Russell, his maternal grandparents, Calvin and Annette Phillips and his uncle John Phillips Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Sunday, March 5, 2017 from 2 -5 PM, funeral services will follow immediately at 5:00 PM, with the Rev.
