Christina T. Edwards, 69, of Silver Creek, NY passed away Monday morning September 12, 2016 at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, Buffalo, NY. Chris was born on March 9, 1947 in Dunkirk, NY, the daughter of the late John and Josephine (Rzeszotarski) Balzer. She was a 1965 graduate of Dunkirk High School, a 1967 graduate of Jamestown Community College as a Dental Assistant. She married Clifford Edwards on November 20, 1965 at St. Hedwig’s in Dunkirk, NY. Chris spent her life working in the health care field as a caregiver in the local area for different organizations. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt Carmel R.C. Church. Her hobbies included cooking and baking, she loved to watch the Young and the Restless and her favorite game shows the Wheel of Fortune and the Price is Right. Another enjoyment was playing the slots at the casinos and shopping for shoes to add to her extensive collection. She also loved to collect snowmen and she often said keeping Cliff in line was a full time job. Survivors include her beloved husband ,Clifford Edwards, three daughters, Sherri Edwards, Laurie ( Joseph) Didas and Karen ( Chad) Reed all of Silver Creek, NY, two cherished grandchildren, Justin and Jessica Didas and her loving chocolate lab “Bella J.
