Obituary of James H. Cisneros

James H. Cisneros, 29, of Silver Creek , NY passed away Wednesday evening , June 1, 2016, surrounded by his loving family, at Brooks Memorial Hospital in Dunkirk, NY after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Jim was born on October 13, 1986 in Maricopa County, AZ., a son of the late Marguerite Waterman. The family moved back to the Silver Creek area where he was raised . He graduated from Silver Creek Central School , Class of 2006. Jim was an accomplished athlete, playing lacrosse and basketball for the “ Black Knights”. His passion was music, he was a drummer and a bass guitar player. He was a very independent person who enjoyed his time with friends, especially in the summer . They really liked going kayaking. Family was very important to him , a devoted Uncle who loved his nieces and nephews. Jim was a member of the Turtle Clan of the Seneca Nation of Indians. Survivors include two brothers , Jesse H.( Jessica Olsen) Cisneros of Forestville, NY , Jose H. ( Katie Brunn) Cisneros of Hamburg,NY , two sisters , Clarinda Waterman of Minneapolis , MN and Amanda ( Robert) Austin of Silver Creek, NY ., three nephews and two nieces, Ella, Ericka, and Eli Austin ,and Elliot & Harris Cisneros. A Celebration of Life will be held at the convenience of the family. Visitation will not be observed. Arrangements by the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel ,160 Central Ave. , Silver Creek, NY.
