Obituary of Shelley L. Willey

Shelley L. Willey, 55, of Sheridan, NY passed away Wednesday afternoon, January 27, 2016 at Buffalo General Hospital in Buffalo, NY, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on November 4, 1960, in Silver Creek, NY, the daughter of the late Carol A. Dillenburg. She graduated from Forestville Central High School, Class of 1978. Shelley worked as a nurse's aid for the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk, NY. She enjoyed cooking and gardening and was known for her craftiness. Family was dear to her heart; spending time with her children and grandchildren meant everything to her. Article Photos Shelley L. Willey Survivors include one son, Kristofor A. Wicks of Silver Creek, NY; three daughters, Shannon L. Wicks of Buffalo, NY, Sheena L. Schrader of Forestville, NY and Tara M. Willey of Lyman, SC; three brothers, Jon McCune, of Salamanca, NY, Steve Cobb of Fla. and Mike (Tina) McCune of Duncan, SC; four grandchildren, Abigail and Noah Wicks, and Lynn and Audreyanna Schrader; and her significant other, John Swogger of Buffalo, NY. Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her uncle, John Dillenburg III, who helped raise her. A Memorial Service will be held on February 27, 2016, the place and time to be announced.
