SILVER CREEK - Edward Reehling, 97, of Silver Creek, NY passed away Friday evening, July 31, 2015, at his residence, surrounded by the caring staff from People Inc. He was born on March 10, 1918 in Buffalo, NY, the son of the late Edward and Cora (Martin) Reehling. Eddie was a resident of People Inc. and the area for many years. He attended Claddagh Day Hab for numerous years. He had a great love of Christmas, and the Xmas season, calling Santa Claus "Pa Pa". Eddie enjoyed horses and collected anything related to them, figurines stuffed animals etc. Survivors include the Newton St. residents' staff, and his guardian, David Mack Hardiman. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by three sisters, Margaret Reehling, Beatrice Posch, and Marlene Frank.
