Obituary of Helen Pat Damico

SUNSET BAY - Helen "Pat" Damico, 80, formerly of Sunset Bay, NY, passed away Thursday, July 2, 2015, surrounded by her loving family at Heritage Village Rehab & Skilled Nursing in Gerry, NY. She was born on January 19, 1935 in Glen Cove, NY, the daughter of the late Robert and Josephine (Dzimitrowicz) Moxley. She graduated from South Park High School in Buffalo, NY. She worked as a head cashier for Loblaws of Buffalo, NY, as a seamstress and supervisor for M. Wile Co. of Dunkirk, NY, and was also involved in her son's business, "Added Touch." Pat enjoyed gardening, sewing, knitting and her animals. But most of all her family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren were very dear to her heart. Survivors include a daughter, Sue (Jim) Buchholz Kahabka of Silver Creek, NY, a son Bill (Sherri) Buchholz of Key West, Fla., five grandchildren, Julie Rice, Aubrey Metzger, Billy, Lauren and Megan Buchholz, three great grandchildren, Andrew and Autumn Rice, and Dre Metzger. Three sisters, Sally Weisbeck of CA, Gloria (Ralph) Weipert of Winterhaven, FL, Connie (Neal) Hicks of Tucson, AZ, a brother, Robert (Janet) Moxley of Williamsville, NY, also survived by several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, William Buchholz, and her second husband, Anthony Damico. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
