SILVER CREEK - David A. Farley Sr., 50, of Silver Creek, NY, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at the TLC Lake Shore Hospital in Irving, NY. Dave was born in Kenmore, NY on April 12, 1965, the son of Don Farley and Sandra Mussell. He graduated from Orchard Park High School, "Class of 1983," and also attended Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. He was the Co-owner of the Hanford Market & Deli in Irving, NY, with his partner, Jeffrey Gallivan; prior to that, he worked for Turftenders for 16 years in Fredonia, NY. He married the former Justina Ippolito on June 26, 1999 at the First United Article Photos David A. Farley Sr. Presbyterian Church in Silver Creek, NY. He is survived and forever loved by his dear wife Tina, beloved children Taylor Madison and David A. Farley Jr., his parents, Don (Susan) Farley of Grand Island, NY and Sandra (Roy) Mussell of Amherst, NY, two sisters, Lisa (Billy) Carney of Oswego, NY and Susan (Duane) Fregoe of Rochester, NY, his mother- and father-in-law, Wallace (Diane) Baker, sister-in-law Terri (Tim) Iskra, and brother-in-law Michael (Ashley) Baker, all of Silver Creek, NY. He is the cher-ished nephew of Alexena Kech of Houston, TX, and Alicia Bridgeman of Alexandria, Va. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Veronica Godwin. Dave attended the First United Presbyterian Church in Silver Creek, and was a loyal and dedicated member of the Silver Creek Firemen's Club. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and the Boston Red Sox. One of his fondest memories was kissing Pesky's Pole on an anniversary trip with his wife to Fenway Park. On any given Sunday during football season, you could find Dave hosting "Football Sunday." Many people called Dave a friend and if needed, he would've given the shirt off his back for any one of them. Those fortunate enough to have shared a beer with Dave will remember his infectious smile and zest for life. He was the Co-owner of the Hanford Market & Deli in Irving, NY, with his partner, Jeffrey Gallivan; prior to that, he worked for Turftenders for 16 years in Fredonia, NY. He is survived and forever loved by his dear wife Tina, beloved children Taylor Madison and David A. Farley Jr., his parents, Don (Susan) Farley of Grand Island, NY and Sandra (Roy) Mussell of Amherst, NY, two sisters, Lisa (Billy) Carney of Oswego, NY and Susan (Duane) Fregoe of Rochester, NY, his mother- and father-in-law, Wallace (Diane) Baker, sister-in-law Terri (Tim) Iskra, and brother-in-law Michael (Ashley) Baker, all of Silver Creek, NY. He is the cher-ished nephew of Alexena Kech of Houston, TX, and Alicia Bridgeman of Alexandria, Va. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Veronica Godwin. Dave attended the First United Presbyterian Church in Silver Creek, and was a loyal and dedicated member of the Silver Creek Firemen's Club. He was an avid sports fan who loved the Buffalo Bills, Sabres, and the Boston Red Sox. One of his fondest memories was kissing Pesky's Pole on an anniversary trip with his wife to Fenway Park. On any given Sunday during football season, you could find Dave hosting "Football Sunday." Many people called Dave a friend and if needed, he would've given the shirt off his back for any one of them. Those fortunate enough to have shared a beer with Dave will remember his infectious smile and zest for life.
