Obituary of Nicole M. Budd

Nicole M. Budd, 53, of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation, passed away Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at her residence. She was born Feb. 28, 1961 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Vincent and Dawn (Nephew) Budd. Nicole was a free spirit who lived life to the fullest, she marched to the beat of her own drum. She was a very caring and compassionate person, who would help anybody. An excellent cook, known for her fry bread and strawberry shortcake, she enjoyed bingo and puzzles of any kind. She belonged to the Seneca Nation of Indians and the Turtle Clan. Article Photos Surviving are two sons, Kevin and Blaine Pierce, and a sister, Michele Williams, all of the Cattaraugus Indian Reservation; a sister, Sheryl (Troy) Malecki of Williamsville, NY and also survived by numerous family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Sadie Ben-nett. A wake service will be Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014 at Nicole's home, 14030 Route 438 Gowanda, NY, at 2 p.m., where a funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Roland Cooper officiating.
