Obituary of Celia A. Reed

Celia A. Reed, 66, of Athens, Al., formerly of Dunkirk, NY passed away Wednesday, December 10, 2014 at Athens-Limestone Hospital in Athens, Al. She was born October 9, 1948 in Westfield, NY, the daughter of the late Lowell and Vivian (Gundlach) Larson. She attended Silver Creek Central School, and graduated from Empire State College, earning a bachelor's degree in psychology. Celia was a private person who loved her cats. She enjoyed reading and considered herself an amateur author. Family, especially her grandchildren, were dear to her heart. She also was a woman of strong faith. Article Photos Celia A. Reed Survivors include two sons, Jack Drew, and Chuck (Becky) Reed, both of Dunkirk, NY, a daughter, Tina Doner of Silver Creek, NY, a sister, Cheryl Larson of Fredonia, NY, six grandchildren, Amanda and Dylan Reed, Alex, Brandon, Sarah and Sabrina Doner. Celia was predeceased by her parents, a brother, Eric Larson, a sister, Marcia Kohler, and an infant daughter, Vicki Drew. Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave., Silver Creek, NY on Mon-day, December 15, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., where a Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. Rev.
