Obituary of James H. Reynolds

Obituary James H. Reynolds (Jim), 75 of Silver Creek, NY, passed away unexpectedly at Buffalo General Hospital on Friday, July 3rd, 2020. He was born September 17th, 1944, in Buffalo, NY. Jim was the son of the late Lester and Marie Reynolds formerly of Silver Creek, NY., and brother to Richard (Dick) Bailey who also preceded him in death. Jim attended Silver Creek Central School and had been a business owner/operator of Prestige Motors in Silver Creek for over 50 years. Jim was the loving and devoted father to Jennifer (Michael Pagano) Restivo of Irving, NY. He was also the proud grandfather (Papa) and great-grandfather to Christian and Shelbi Restivo (Isaiah James and Eli) of Silver Creek, NY, Marissa Restivo of Hamburg, NY, Noah Restivo of Irving, NY and Grace Restivo of Erie, PA. Jim also leaves behind his loving long-time girlfriend, Sallie Nickerson of Cassadaga, NY and her children; Denver Nickerson of Erie, PA, Dallas and Jessica Nickerson of Sacramento, CA and finally Savanna Nickerson of Cassadaga, NY, of whom Jim was extremely fond and proud. Jim enjoyed many years with his family and dogs, sharing and building memories at Woodside Campground over the past eight years. Jim was an avid Harley Davidson motorcyclist and loved nothing more than riding across the country and alongside his beloved and cherished eldest grandson, Christian Restivo. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A celebration of Jim’s life, including a motorcycle/car run, will be held Saturday, July 11th, 2020 at 11:00 am, starting at Jim’s business, Prestige Motors, next to Aunt Millie’s Restaurant. It will proceed through Silver Creek and onto Woodside Campground in Cassadaga. A celebration of Jim as a father, Papa/great-grandfather, friend, and loving companion will be held at Woodside following the ride.
