Obituary of Lucille M. DePasquale

Obituary Lucille Marie DePasquale,79, of Silver Creek, NY passed away on Sunday afternoon April 26,2020 after a long illness and a short stay at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Lucille was born on February 28,1941 in Silver Creek the daughter of the late Angelo and Mary (Dattilo) Botticello. Lucille graduated from Silver Creek High School “Class of 1959”. She married Salvatore DePasquale on March 1st,1964 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel R.C. Church in Silver Creek. Together, they raised two boys, Charles and Gregory, and enjoyed their activities, sports and band concerts they participated in. She worked at Forbes and Wagner Business Office in the 1980’s. She enjoyed spending time with her sisters, Judy and Nancy, her two aunts, Iva Dattilo and Nina Botticello; and her two cousins Nance Ortolano and Sandi Buckley all going to “Aunt Millies” every month for breakfast get togethers. She also enjoyed long car rides with her husband Sal. Lucille dearly loved having her grandchildren spend time with her and always prepared “special meals” for them. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. Survivors include her devoted husband of 56 years, Salvatore DePasquale; two sons, Charles (Jennifer) DePasquale of Marcy, NY and Gregory DePasquale of Fort Myers, Fla.; three loving grandchildren, Sam, Joe, and Elizabeth DePasquale; a sister, Nancy (Rick) Taaffe of Silver Creek, NY; loving nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; sisters-in-law, Mary Grace Spencer and Joanne DePasquale; brother-in-law, Dale Van Vlack Sr.; many cousins, good friend, Carlene Braidich and childhood best friend, Margaret (Mangano) Stoll. In addition to her parents, Lucille was preceded in death by her sister Judith Van Vlack. Sal would like to give special thanks to his niece Dawn DePasquale for all her help over these past months. Funeral services will be private a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date. Interment will be in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Silver Creek.
