(Nola) Cross, 84, of Holiday, Florida and Irving, New York, died on Tuesday, August 13, 2019 in New Hartford, NY born in Buffalo on February 18, 1935 the daughter of the late Samuel T. Nola and Rose V. (Carvana) Nola. Irene is survived by her loving companion Theodore J. Welch of Irving, NY and their dog Maggie. Mother of John Cross of New Port Richey FL, Deborah (Rex) Fuller of Mayville, NY, James (Sandy) Cross of New Port Richey, FL, and Kathleen (Martin) Hollister of New Hartford NY, grandmother of Malon, Jared, Joshua, Jennifer, Tyler, Allyson, Justin, Samantha, and Megan. Great-grandmother of Troy, Travis, Ryder, Emma and Joshua Scot. Sister of Alice Wilmer of Crystal River FL, Mary Lott of Tampa, FL, and Joseph (Fran) Nola of North Redding MA, predeceased by Richard Nola, sister, Sarah Louise Notaro. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Irene was a 1953 graduate of Silver Creek High School and worked as a court clerk for the Town of Hanover and retired from her position as a court clerk for Erie County Supreme Court in Buffalo NY. She was a member of St. Albans Episcopal Church in Silver Creek, NY.
