Obituary of Virginia D. Breznak

Obituary Virginia D. Breznak, 97, of Dunkirk, NY formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away Tuesday evening, July 30,2019 at the Chautauqua Nursing and Rehab Center in Dunkirk, NY. She was born on March 12,1922 in Kingston, NY the daughter of the late John and Florence (Provost) Dalton. Virginia grew up in Plattsburgh, NY and was one of the top students in her class graduating in 1940, she then attended college earning an associate degree in business. She worked as an executive secretary and an office assistant for Dr. Robert Danner DDS in Utica, NY for several years. Virginia enjoyed oil and water color painting, bird watching and gardening. She thoroughly loved her family and was very involved in her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren’s lives. Virginia is survived by four daughters, Lisa (Howard Goodman) Breznak of Peekskill, NY, Susan (Andrew) Breznak-Honeychurch of Fredonia, NY, Layna (Louis F.) Pelletter of Forestville, and Karen Breznak of Rio Verde, Az.; five grandchildren, Peter (Mary Valvo) Pelletter, Andrea (Gary) Spengler, Joshua Meyer, Mallory (Allen) Ward, and Maxton Honeychurch; seven great grandchildren, Jack, Ben, and Ryan Spengler, Evan and Whitney Pelletter, Juliana and Annalise Ward. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 35 years Peter Breznak, a brother, Robert Dalton, and an infant sister, Margaret Dalton. Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Monday, August 5,2019 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 6,2019 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel R.C. Church, 165 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY at 10:00 a.m. Interment will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
