Johnny and I are just heartbroken. We loved Don so very much. He was one of a kind, truly a gem. I always loved to hear the stories they (the cousins) told of their adventures growing up in a big loving family. Our family has been hit hard with the passings of Ruby, Gary and now Don. We don’t have the words to express our heartache. We can only pray that our Heavenly Father wraps his arms around Marietta, Teri and Lance and gives them the peace and strength that only he can. Also that he would help comfort them and so many others that loved Don so much.

I met Don in the Army National Guard; and we had some pretty good times. Don will be missed; and I will never forget the time that I picked up Don and Edwards on RT. 5 hitch-hiking from the Ford Motor Co. I want to send my condolences to his wife and family. R.I.P. Don
