Obituary of Carol L. Barnes

Carol Lou Barnes, 90, of Lancaster, NY formerly of Silver Creek, NY passed away on Saturday morning, June 25, 2022 in Springdale, AR.

She was born on April 23, 1932 in Silver Creek, the daughter of the late Leonard and Elsie (Synski) Schwerk.

Carol is survived by a son, Steven (Janet) Barnes D.O. of Van Buren, NY and a daughter, Betsy Barnes Moghadam of Fayetteville, AR.; ten grandchildren, Margaret (Charlie) Dagnal, Cullen (Maria) Barnes, Cara Barnes, Annie (David) Stover, Daniel, Mary and Michael Barnes, Mark, Mitzi and Macey  Moghadam; two great-grandchildren, Hugh and Jane Dagnal; a sister, Mary Ann (late Frederick) Long of Dunkirk, NY.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Murton Schwerk.

Carol cherished her family, loved spending time with her grandchildren and adored her dachshund dogs.

Friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Friday, July 8,2022 from 11-1 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel RC Church, 165 Central Ave. Silver Creek on Friday, July 8, 2022 at 1:30PM. Interment will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
