Obituary of Kim A Gaylord

Gaylord- Kim A.

Kim A. Gaylord, age 68, of Irving, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Friday afternoon Sept. 16, 2022 at his home in Sunset Bay. He is the son of the late Kenneth E. and Elizabeth J. (Russo) Gaylord. Kim is survived by his loving wife, Karen (Halbig) Gaylord; a son, Ray(Tina) Halbig; two grandchildren; Matthew and Brittany Halbig; four great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Robert H. Glende; a sister-in-law, Patricia M. Gaylord; a niece, Amy (Eric) Glende and a nephew, Timothy (Nancy) Gaylord.  He is predeceased by a brother, Lawrence A. Gaylord and a sister, W. Jeanne Glende. Kim was a 1972 graduate of Eden High School and worked for WNYDDSO caring for the developmentally disabled. He had a number of hobbies including woodworking, creative writing, cooking especially on the grill and finding a “treasure” at garage sales.  Kim really enjoyed people and had pen pals from around the world. He also had a love for music, especially Jethro Tull and Led Zeppelin.
