Willard L. “Wid” Seeley, 78, of Irving, NY passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, November 23, 2022 at his home.

Wid was born on June 30, 1944 in Silver Creek, NY, the son of the late William and Vivian (Bell) Seeley.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Doris(Brownworth) Seeley; his son, Darren Seeley of Irving, NY; two daughters, Kathleen (Randy) Klepfer of Morresville, NC and Christine Bentley of Silver Creek; eleven cherished grandchildren, Savannah and Porscha Seeley, Marcey and Randi Rae Klepfer, Erica Chavez, Danielle Seeley, Lindsay Hughes, Jacob Seeley and Blake Seeley, Emily Hughes and Justin Bentley; two brothers, Jeffrey (Denise) Seeley of Forestville, NY and Randy (late Lucia) of Silver Creek; a sister, Bonnie Cornelius of Balston Spa, NY.

Wid was preceded in death by his son, Daniel Seeley.

Wid was an operating engineer for Operating Engineers Local #17 of Buffalo, NY.

He was passionate about grape farming, enjoyed playing golf and was a diehard NY Yankee and Buffalo Bills fan.

As per Wid’s wishes there will be no public visitation. There will be a Celebration of life ceremony at the convenience of the family date and time to be announced.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hole-Parker Funeral Home, 160Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY.
