Joseph D. Borrello Sr.

March 2, 1946- November 28, 2023

Joseph D. Borrello Sr., 77, of Blasdell, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at his residence. He was born in Sheridan, NY, the son of the late Patsy and Minnie (nee Flitt) Borrello.

Joe is survived by four children: Karla (Rick Schaper) Payne of Derby, NY, Linda Borrello of Blasdell, NY, Paul (Christen) of Raleigh, NC and Joseph Jr. (Karla) Borrello of Boston, NY; three step-children, Dana (Jay) Tobler of OR, Kimberly (Anthony) Aguirre of CA and Christopher (Colette) Tobler of Williamsville, NY; eleven grandchildren, Lindsay (Brad) Gottorff, Nicholas Payne, Matthew and Ava Borrello, Austin and Dylan Bakowski, Devon and Cole Tobler, Antonio and Leilah Aguirre and  Callie Borrello; a brother, Richard (Eileen) Borrello of Silver Creek, NY; also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda (Tobler) Borrello and four brothers, Anthony , Vito, Patsy and Daniel Borrello.

Joe graduated from Silver Creek High school in 1964. He worked in the auto industry most of his life, retiring as a District Manager for Monro Auto Service in Buffalo, NY.

He loved sports, especially the NY Mets, Jets and the Knicks and NASCAR. In his younger years he enjoyed drag racing, in organized racing or on the street.

Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on Tuesday, December 5, 2023 from 10AM -1PM., where a funeral service will follow at 1 PM. Burial will be in the Mt Carmel Cemetery.
