Daniel M. Smith

Age 40, of Silver Creek, NY passed away on Monday afternoon, February 19, 2024 at ECMC
in Buffalo, NY after complications from an organ transplant.
He was born on December 21, 1983 in Socorro, NM the son of Marvin D. Smith and Cynthia A. (nee
Hicks) Davis. On September 20, 2008, he married the former Jennifer Hart in Prince George, MD.
Dan is survived by his beloved wife of 15 years, Jennifer Smith , NY; his cherished daughter, Jalyn Smith;
a sister, Wendy Matthews; his mother, Cindy (Sherry) Davis; his father, Marvin Smith; a step-sister,
Debbie (Bruce) Brown; a step-brother, Marlin (Missy) Smith; his father-in-law& mother-in-law, Ronald &
Melba Hart; sister-in-law, Stephanie Hart; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; also
survived by his best friends, Robert “Oppi” Kwaizer, Matt Wollburg and Wacey Brasmer-Tashnebully.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herbert Hicks and Beva Metts; his paternal
grandmother, Thelma Smith and s sister-in-law Theresa Hart.
Dan worked at Native Pride in Irving, NY as a diesel fuel attendant and later as an assistant manager for
Native Pride II also in Irving, NY.
Dan was an avid video game player, loved WWE and AEW wrestling, he enjoyed attending shows when
they were in the area.

Relatives and friends may call at the Hole-Parker Funeral Chapel, 160 Central Ave. Silver Creek, NY on
Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 4-7 PM. Interment will be private in the Hart Cemetery.
