Dear Mrs. O'Keefe and Family, I'm sure you do not remember me but I have very fond memories of Karen and your family in 1966-67. Karen was my best friend when I was a freshman at Archbishop Walsh high school. I was from Salamanca and new to the Olean area. I was honored to be invited to spend several weekends at your home and loved you and your family. I have always thought Karen was the most beautiful, elegant and brillant person and I admired her faith and personal strength. Thank you for making wonderful memories for me. I am so sorry for your loss. Even though I only knew Karen for a school year, I have never forgotten her. My brother Dan Walsh is a priest in Dunkirk and sent me the notice. He remembered her as well. God be with you and your family. Blessings and Peace. Holly Walsh Valent
