Betty Sue and family. We are in Florida and I just saw this about Gib, The Kniese family would like to express our sadness with the lose of a wonderful person. Darcey Volans I worked with Gib when he was the EAP person and I remember when he first started. He had so much drive and willingness to learn. I worked in Albany HQ managing health insurance and other benefits employees had. He came to retirement seminars that I conducted so he could learn all he could so as to help others. He also helped me because my brother is a Vietnam veteran who came back from there a different person than when he left home. He was a kind soft spoken and very respected by all who knew him. I am sorry you lost him so soon.

To Betty, Kristin, Meghan, Ava, Sophia, Nick, and Gianna: I am so sorry for your loss. Gib was a wonderful, loving, caring, husband, father, and grandfather. He will be missed by all who loved him and knew him. I am so glad that I got to know him from all the parties etc. My heart is breaking for you all, but know that he is no longer in pain and will be watching from above. May God Bless you all. I came to know Gibby over the years from when he would make his annual trip south to Florida as a "snowbird" and join back up with our Saturday Golf Tour group. It was always the bright spot of the season the week he arrived because you knew you'd have him around for the next couple months! He and I had some great talks together on and off the golf course. He was great conversationalist and a very thoughtful and caring person....he had a darn good golf game too! To his wife Elizabeth and his entire extended family, I offer my sincerest condolences. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.

Seegert family my sincere condolences for your loss. Gib was a wonderful man, he and my brother Pete, always enjoyed creating havoc together. I am certain they will meet again soon and continue their shenanigans. Betty, Fritz and family, you are all in my prayers. RIP Gib !
