I am deeply saddened by the news of Mike's passing. We were close friends at SCCS and beyond, and in those years spent countless hours together, many in Mike's basement hanging out and planning mischief. And driving around in his Catalina looking for more mischief and occasionally finding it. Mike was truly one of a kind and his whimsical smile will forever remain in my memory. Deepest condolences to Kathy and family.

Mike was a loyal friend. He had a sharp wit and was not afraid to use it. His love of history was voluminous. We listened to Pink Floyd many evenings and he could recite trivial lines within a song. Mike's love of food and help teaching me to make many receipes I still use. From lobster to scratch spaghetti noodles. We met in ninth grade a skinny kid and a Boston hockey nut. Our clique was small and thought we were nerds. But we had so much fun from then and through the years. Mike made me laugh so hard I couldn't breathe. Kathy is his match.
