Omg, I just checked Facebook because I haven’t seen Kerry on in a while. I am so shocked and deeply sorry to learn of Kerry’s passing. I can’t imagine how you all must feel. Kerry was not just an amazing breeder, she was an amazing person, one I considered a friend. She welcomed me into your home almost once a week for a while until we got to take our Bear home with us (Mocha and Ripley). We kept in touch quite a bit, whether it was answering my questions, checking in on Bear, discussing our boys, to even brainstorming some ideas for getting together to play with new puppy litters. I will miss her dearly. Please know that I am lifting you all up in prayers of peace. May all of your beautiful memories together being you comfort.
Sincerely,
Alicia Valerie

Tom and I adored Kerry. She brought us many laughs and good times. I had originally met Kerry at Building Block Daycare - many years ago. We spent time together through Little League with TJ and our son, Christopher. Kerry adored her boys and was an amazing Mom. God bless all of her family and RIP my Friend.

Dear Dan, TJ and Jack, Offering you my sincere condolences for the loss of your wonderful wife and mother. I am deeply and profoundly sorry for your loss. Kerry was a remarkably kind, giving and intelligent young woman. Her love of dogs, specifically English Labradors was admirable and inspiring. Her energy and devotion to raising these beautiful dogs and caring for them is something I will forever admire. Kerry found her calling and devoted her life to it. I am honored to have known her for the last seven years. She might not have known this but she helped me through the loss of my darling “Riley”, an 11 year old chocolate Lab, less painful. Kerry’s sense for the relationship that exists between people and dogs was unparalleled. I am saddened beyond measure with the news of her passing and hope that you and your family will find comfort and peace through the support of those who knew Kerry. God Bless and Godspeed sweet Kerry. You are forever loved and remembered.
Sincerely, Caroline Costanza

I met Kerry and Dan just a short time ago. Our puppy that we got from them was born January 15 2023. When we first visited with Kerry and Dan it didn’t take a second to tell that they were very devoted to raising and loving all of the dogs and puppies they had. I didn’t know how they did it, We met with Kerry several times before before picking out our puppy. She was always so kind and patient allowing you to spend time playing with each puppy and even meeting with their wonderful parents. I felt a connection with Kerry after each time we would go up to visit the puppies i always looked forward to seeing Kerry just as much as visiting with the pups. I mean just after a few visits I felt like I made a life long friend. When I learned of the news of her passing I felt like I just lost a lifetime friend. I’m heartbroken for her and her family. I pray for them. I love them all. Such a great family that left a huge impression on me and my son. We will raise our dog in honor of Kerry and bring smiles to everyone’s faces she meets for years to come. All thanks to Kerry and her family. One of the last conversations I had with Kerry was the name we picked out for our dog on the night we went to get her. I wanted to run the name by her before we left with our pup. My son and I came up with Stormy. It was the last time we had a snow storm in 2023. Kerry said she didn’t think that anyone else that had gotten a puppy from her had that name and it was unique and she liked it. I left Kerry’s house driving home that night with little Stormy in my lap and I knew we had made one of the best choices in our life thanks to Kerry and Dan. She will be missed by us dearly and she is truly an angel in our hearts.

This was Kerry scooping up all the females waiting so patiently while I decided which one to pick. Myself and everyone else that owns a Hemlock Hill dog would have to agree that they have the best temperament because of Kerry!
Kerry was a wonderful person and I’m heartbroken for her family. Heaven sure gained a special person.
My deepest condolences, Kim Gillette

My deepest sympathies to Kerry’s family she will always be remembered. When I first met Kerry I was the girl that went to puppy class and had no puppy my friend had told me about Kerry and her chocolate labs so I went to puppy class to see them I ended up meeting a lot of wonderful people including Kerry and willow and her son Jack who was working with Lyla. I ended up getting my beautiful Molly from Kerry who is a wonderful caring person that I will never forget!

A beautiful person inside and out with a heart of gold. We first met at Building Blocks daycare and our boys became fast friends. Some great memories with TJ and Dennis….one of my favorites was the Outhouse races where “I Dun shot myself a redneck”. When I discovered your love for English Labs when I was looking to add to our family I knew you would have the best. Riley & Cooper have blessed my family in so many ways and that all started with the love your family gave to them and all your pups. My heart aches, you were taken way to soon but will never be forgotten. Thoughts and prayers to your family.

All of the wonderful memories that flood my mind when thinking back to when we were kids.
How quickly time flew and time passed and the next time I heard your name had to be in time like this.
They say that life isn’t in our birth year or our death date, but how we spent the dash in between.
From reading what has been written about you, it warms my heart to know that you were happy with your “dash”. You’ve lived it well even though it was taken from you way too soon.
Fly high, my friend.
